SAHIL ARORA
Co-Chair of the Board of Directors
Sahil Arora is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and a versatile entrepreneur with a diverse background in life sciences, healthcare policy, automotive, licensed merchandising, hospitality, and non-profit sectors. He has conducted impactful research in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health, exploring Medicaid coverage for Doula programs and the effects of food prescriptions on low-income communities. Additionally, his published research on diabetic retinopathy in Diabetologia underscores his scientific expertise. Motivated by his immigrant family background, Sahil firmly believes in the power of education to drive change. In 2016, he founded the Arora Foundation to pursue this vision, extending its reach to support local hospitals and families with children battling cancer. Sahil currently is pursuing a law degree at George Washington University School of Law. Over the past eight years, the Foundation has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to various educational and medical initiatives under his leadership.Sahil envisions a future where the Foundation can help underprivileged children nationwide access and afford high-quality education, empowering them to reach their fullest potential.

JONATHAN ALAMIR
Co-Chair of the Board of
Directors
Jonathan Alamir is a graduate of Cleveland State University College of Law and currently works as an associate attorney at Jones Day. He has worked in legal roles for various community organizations, including the Children’s Law Center and the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic. Jonathan also has extensive history volunteering with non-profit organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club.
Jonathan is a believer that every child should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, regardless of their financial situations or life circumstances. As a valued member of our board, Jonathan helps make those dreams a reality.

JAD DAW
Director of Program Development
Jad Daw is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and is currently an internal medicine resident physician at the Cleveland Clinic, with career goals of combatting socioeconomic and racial disparities in healthcare. He graduated with his MD in 2025 from the Ohio State University School of Medicine. Jad is heavily involved in research, whether it be clinical, basic science, or medical social science research. He also believes that every child has the right to a world-class education, which is why he joined the Arora Foundation as the Director of Program Development in 2020.
While with The Arora Foundation, Jad has spearheaded several projects, such as VLOI and the Scholarship Fund. Outside of the Arora Foundation and his studies, he has put his beliefs in action; Jad was the President of the Muslim Student Association of Case Western and has worked as a peer tutor and a teaching assistant. He also works as an organizer with GiveBack Lebanon to provide food to people in Lebanon.

PETER ABOU HAIDAR
Treasurer
​Peter Abou Haidar is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and is working as a bank examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. In his free time, Peter enjoys following professional sports, working out, and gaming. Peter strongly believes in the value of education for everyone, which compelled him to join the Arora Foundation and make a difference.
